About Marshalls Automotive

Marshalls Automotive began business in 1984 in a small two bay facility. As business grew and co-workers were added, there was a need to move to a larger facility. In 1993 we moved to our current location which houses 5 bays and a clean, nicely decorated office and waiting area.

Our Mission: Our mission at Marshalls Automotive is to develop a relationship with our customers to keep their vehicles safe and reliable. We are dedicated to achieving total customer satisfaction by delivering service that meets and exceeds your expectations.

Our Philosophy: We pride ourselves in taking personal care of each customer. Our customers know us and trust us, and we know who our customers are. The quality of our work is evident, and most often we can get your vehicle in and out the same day to minimize inconveniences.

Meet Lance, Owner of Marshalls Automotive

Lance is a life long resident of Central Oregon, with a life long passion for cars. As a child, he disassembled his bicycle, his parents phonograph, and later his first Honda, as “he wanted to see how they worked.” As a High Schooler with a “Hot Rod”, he did his own repairs, as being a perfectionist, he was not satisfied with repairs made by others. Lance left Central Oregon to attend college at Arizona State University, but returned to the area soon after, and has been involved in the industry ever since.

Lance has always tried to follow his instincts. One feeling that he has is that, “Lots of cars on the road in Oregon aren’t safe these days.” The state of  Oregon has never required annual vehicle inspections like many other states do. “Without required inspections it’s up to the customers to have their cars kept up to date, Lance said. Many times, his clients may have a car sitting idle for most of the year and they’ll drive it without a second thought, without taking the time to have them checked out. “They may have no brake lights, poor brakes or bad tires and they could put themselves or others at risk, ” he said.

Lance still ponders the question “what would I do if it was my car?” Putting himself in his customer’s shoes, has always kept his customers coming back time and time again.
